Cultural Resources

Our Cultural Resources Department exists for the purposes of protecting, enhancing and sharing the cultural resources of Kíkacéki  for current and future generations.

RESOURCE MANAGEMENT

The Cultural Resources Department works closely with the Department of Land and Water to advance Traditional Ecological Knowledge in the Tribe’s natural resource management plans. 

CLASSES

Classes in material gathering, processing, and construction are offered throughout the year. What classes are available depends on the season.

PRESERVATION

A core function of the Cultural Resources Department is the protection of cultural resources. This includes cultural monitoring, rematriation, and object preservation.
